Food!

"You are what you eat." Aint it the truth? But why does this statement always have to be such a nag? I am a great advocate of healthy eating, and I feel that it is a lot easier than most people think. Once a healthy lifestyle is adopted, eating healthy just comes naturally. One begins to crave healthy foods, get excited to put vitamin-enriched meals into their bodies, and of course will probably want to spread the love of food with others. I get so excited to cook for myself, others, and to share recipes. This blog is all about informing you why certain foods are good for you and share absolutely delicious ways of preparing food.

I don't want to preach to you about something that tastes good when it doesn't. Food is meant to be eaten in its purest form to fuel our bodies for the busy lives we lead. I am no vegetarian, vegan, or low-calorie seeker, I just like eating healthy and tasty food. My food philosophy: Food is here to serve my body so my body can serve me. People would probably function a whole lot better if they filled their bodies with full-calorie meals instead of empty sodium-filled products. There is so much to know about what is going in your body. Treat yourself, your taste buds, and your well-being! Trust me...my taste buds don't lie, this stuff is good!
